A FAMILY fete in Simmons Park on Sunday in aid of the Carer's Trust was hailed as a great success with the lovely late summer weather bringing out the crowds.
The event was organised by the Co-op for its charity of the year and included in the attractions was a bouncy castle, reptile demonstrations, zumba workouts and the Footsteps Flash Mob dance routine performed in Exeter the previous day.
Musician Keiran Littlejohns performed and there was a hog roast and ice cream van provided by Martins the butchers. Organisers expressed thanks to Martins, the Okehampton Lions Club and the Ladies Circle who did the cream teas.
