I AM writing to thank all the small businesses from the town and around the area, who gave up a precious Sunday to man their stalls at Okehampton's first wedding fair.

Over 20 businesses took part and we had a fantastic day!

Thanks too, to the businesses/organizations that loaned essential equipment — like Sooz and Diva Dolls, who supplied mannequins to model wedding dresses, and the Archive Group who loaned us their big screen. Pity I cannot add a photo to this!

It is a pleasure to help such businesses when one feels one's efforts are being appreciated!
