A HALWILL Junction family recently presented Derriford Hospital neo-natal intensive care and transitional care units with a cheque for £1,400. The money was raised by the family of Jaime Ley to thank the unit?s staff for the care and support given when Jaime was born nine weeks premature in January 2004. The total was raised through a coffee morning and table-top sale at Halwill Village Hall in September. Jaime?s aunt, Sarah Harry from Launceston, also helped by going on a sponsored slim, losing three stone and raising £525. The family expressed thanks to everyone for their overwhelming help and support.
