ALL you ever needed to know about making your own compost can be learned at Chagford's Proper Job Reuse and Repair Centre this week, in celebration of Compost Awareness Week.
Jo Hodges, of Proper Job, said more than a third of what goes into landfill sites via household dustbins could be composted, thus reducing needless waste.
Jo said this week, visitors are being invited to gain advice on how to start their own composting systems.
Today (Thursday) and tomorrow between 10am and 4pm, the Compost Reuse and Repair Centre staff can give specialist advice on turning kitchen scraps into compost.
