PLANNING permission is being sought for seven new industrial units on the Crannafords Industrial Park in Chagford.
West Devon Borough Council is making the application for the development which would add to the existing seven units occupied by a variety of successful local businesses.
In a report to the Dartmoor National Park Authority, officer Christopher Hart said the owner had indicated that there were local businesses already interested in occupying the units.
Chagford Parish Council has raised no objection subject to the consideration of the immediate removal of the existing polytunnel, the provision of vehicle hardstanding and the restriction of parking outside of the entrance gates.
The DNP will consider the application tomorrow (Friday.)
