CLIMATE change will; be the focus of an exhibition by Dartmoor National Park Authority at Belstone. The exhibition is to be held at the village hall from today (Thursday) until Saturday and will be open daily from 10am until 4.30pm. A DNPA spokesman said the overall communications theme was global concern and local understanding. ?The main emphasis is on explaining how the issues impact on the local environment and how people can still help to mitigate and adapt to the consequences of climate change in practical and effective ways.? The exhibition deals with climate change predictions, the possible impact climate change could have and offers advice on how this issue can be tackled locally. This will include the impact climate change will have, not just globally, but across the South West and, particularly, on Dartmoor. On Saturday November 24 representatives from Devon Energy Efficiency Advice Centre will be at the exhibition to provide free, impartial advice on ways that communities and households can work together for a sustainable and greener future.
