THREE people will undertake a 24-hour fundraiser this weekend to raise money for an animal charity in Winkleigh,
Julie Lock, Amanda Duggan and John Carpenter will be outside Okehampton Pet Supermarket from 9am this weekend to undertake a 24-hour exercise bike cycle to raise money for Loving Homes Dog Rescue.
The shelter rescues dogs due to be put down, gets them spayed and neutered and microchipped before finding them a permanent home. Some of the dogs who have found permanent homes will be present to show the good work of the rescue.
Donations of cash and anything that could be useful for the rescue, such as old blankets, will be welcomed.
