THE first tag rugby game of the season for the Tavistock U7 side and it was great game away at Okehampton with both teams showing bags of potential for the rest of the season. The 8-8 result was ?nip and tuck? with neither team gaining the upper hand in the early stages. There were some excellent moves and great passing making for an entertaining game. Jude White and Lachlan Fulton both showed their pace to score tries for Tavistock and superb defensive support from Morgan Turnock and Jack Smyly kept Tavistock in the game. Jason Blake, Noah Berridge and Lewis McDowell for Tavistock all kept their shape and defended extremely well. The whole team showed great spirit and take on Ivybridge U7s next week.
