Duchy Premier Pensilva 3 Lamerton 0 Lamerton's last game of the season was reduced to 35 minutes each way in the pouring rain and a delayed kick-off. It was a good, even contest. Pensilva looked threatening up front with Tony Hicks holding the line to good effect. Lamerton failed to create a decent effort and Pensilva took the lead when James Healy's attempted clearance fell straight to Zak Peel who tapped home from close range. Lamerton pushed in the second half, but Pensilva's defence was strong. Dan Healy hit the bar and other efforts were well blocked. The home side increased their lead when Steve Lake tripped Pensilva's Peel inside the box. Lamerton strongly protested, but Danny Skews made it 2-0 from the spot. Mitchell took the ball and nicely rounded keeper Lamerton Pete Daniel to score the third. Gunnislake 1 Lamerton 1 Gunnislake's last game of the season saw Lamerton produce a battling performance to gain a point that kept them above the home side in the table. Gunnislake took the lead early when a shot deflected past keeper Pete Daniel. Lamerton's Steve Lake was excellent at full back, produced some good crosses, which nearly brought the visitors level before half time. It was an open game and could have gone either way. Gunnislake hit the bar twice in the second half and Lamerton had more efforts on goal. The equaliser came when Dan Healy's whipped free kick was superbly met by Steve Gibbings' flying header and the ball flew into the bottom corner giving the keeper no chance. Both teams pushed for a winner, but the draw was a fair result.
