WEST Devon horse owners took part in an equine charity workshop recently, run by Moor Natural Horses, educating owners on keeping horses naturally.

The workshop on Bowen therapy attracted 34 people who learned about how horses grow and how to use that knowledge to help equine partners.

Moor Natural Horses (MNH), near Mary Tavy, raised £107 for their nominated charity, Horseback UK.

The group hopes to raise enough funds to sponsor a horse at the charity to follow its progress as it helps in the rehabilitation of injured service men and women.

So far, £432 has been raised by the group, and it hopes to raise more with the continued support of the local community by raising awareness of the charity, with further workshops planned on saddle fitting and a presentation on a personal journey of natural horsemanship in America.
