THERE's an opportunity for West Devon residents to embrace their artistic sides this Easter at RHS Garden Rosemoor in Great Torrington, where they can enjoy the Great British Landscape Art Exhibition. The collection is on show from Saturday March 15 to Sunday March 30 from 11am – 4pm each day, and is an exhibition of works by some of the best contemporary British landscape artists today. The works, in oil, watercolour, mixed media, print or needlework, have been brought together from all over the UK and show a wide range of styles from the realistic to the impressionist — each artist interpreting the landscape in his or her own way. Judith Gardner, Richard Thorn, Chris Rigby and Paul Lewin are just some of the artists featuring in the collection. Diana Gilding, Rosemoor's events supervisor, said: 'This is a superb opportunity to see such a variety of artistic talent, and take home something special to treasure. 'Entry to the exhibition includes Garden admission, so that the experience can be enjoyed with a stroll around Rosemoor Garden, which is looking beautiful at this time of year.'
