CHILDREN at Tavistock Primary School had an egg-cellent Easter themed last day of term last week.

After an Easter service at St Eustachius' Church, the pupils returned to school to be greeted by the Easter bunny who had a basket full of treats.

Children from the Foundation Unit had made their own decorative Easter bonnets and showed them off to parents and pupils in an Easter bonnet parade.

Other activities throughout the day included egg races, Easter egg hunts, painting with eggs and chocolate art work.

The school expressed thanks to Lidl for the generous donation of Easter eggs.
