ALONG with all primary schools in the learning community, Tavistock College is supporting the national initiative called the Children's University.

This promotes and rewards students for attendance at extra curricular activities and clubs, both in school, at lunchtime or after school and in the community.

Students need to buy a passport, costing £2, from the college and then take it to all activities. They will receive a stamp or credit for each hour of attendance.

Students are encouraged to attend and try a variety of clubs and activities and after attending 30 hours, covering three different activities, they take part in a celebration in school. After 65 hours they will attend a celebration in Tavistock Town Hall and after 100 they graduate at Plymouth University.
