A TAVISTOCK College student is to star in an anti-bullying film produced by Plymouth City Council.
Sixth form student and wheelchair user Emma Ruskin, 17, was chosen to appear in one of nine short films which highlight the lives and achievements of young people with disabilities.
Emma said: 'My film focuses on my work as a student mentor and moving on because I'm excited about the possibility of going to university and what the future has in store.
'At lunchtime I meet with a Year 10 student who I help academically and socially. It's very rewarding and I love doing it.'
The films will be collected on a DVD and 200 copies sent to local schools and organisations working with young people.
