DEVON Social Services has published two emergency numbers for people in West Devon to call over the Christmas and New Year period.
The emergency number for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day is 0845 600 0388. The emergency duty team will be available from 4.30pm on December 22 to 9am on December 27 and from 4.30pm on December 29 to 9am on January 2.
The 24-hour telephone service will be available to give advice and arrange urgent care.
The other number — 01822-614121 — is for the West Devon District Office, which will be open to callers and phone inquiries from 9am to 5pm on December 27, 28 and 29.
