AN electric fencing unit was stolen from a field at Green Lane in Yelverton overnight on Sunday/Monday, August 13/14. The owner, Heather Luckham, from Buckland Monachorum, said she went to the field where she keeps horses on Monday morning and discovered the theft of the unit, which cost £100. The battery was left. The matter has been reported to police, but Ms Luckham said if the unit was returned to the field she would not take any further action.
