EIGHT intrepid members of Somerfield?s superstone in Okehampton will be go over the top on November 3 in a bid to raise money for a cancer charity. They are volunteering their services on Saturday afternoon, weather permitting, to step into the void and abseil down Meldon Quarry. Money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support. Safety gear has been sponsored by Okehampton Youth Hostel. Teresa Luffingham, one of the eight, said they would be grateful for any donation, which can be given at the Okehampton store.
