OKEHAMPTON squash team were away to D&E last Thursday week but lost to three matches to two.
Ben Jones, filling in, just could not find any form, going down 3-0. Arnie Searle also lost 3-0 to a highly ranked England under 17 international. Steve Yoe battled well and just lost 3-2.
There were wins from Robert Barkwell, 3-0, and Martin Leyton, 3-0 to give Okehampton eight points to take home.
Fortunes changed last Thursday at home to Exeter University with a massive 20 points to 2 win.
Don Rooke, returning from holiday, took the rubber 3-0 as did Martin Leyton and Rob Barkwell.
Other wins came from Arnie Searle, 3-1, and Steve Yoe, 3-1, to give Okehampton a convincing win.
