LOTS of Easter holiday fun is guaranteed at Castle Drogo near Drewsteignton as the National Trust has organised a packed programme of events specially for children.
Tomorrow (Friday),children can join in putting up bird boxes and helping the castle wardens with a giant nest construction. The activity is suitable for children aged between five and 12 — booking is essential.
During the weekend there will be an Easter egg trail between 12 noon and 3pm on Saturday and Sunday, when children can hunt the castle gardens for clues to win a chocolate prize. Trail sheets are £1 — the maximum age is eleven.
Between March 30 and April 6, the Raggle Taggle Puppets are holding a mixture of shows and workshops.
