IN the first five minutes Lympstone were awarded a penalty after a player was brought down but goalkeeper, Aaron Dearing, made a great save to keep the score level.

Argyle didn't have many chances in the first half and Lympstone dominated, with Okehampton making some silly mistakes to make it 1-0 to the visitors at half time.

Okehampton came out at the start of the second half looking the stronger side. They looked in control and had some great passing through the whole team.

Ollie Crimmins passed a good ball to Ross Voaden who had a great shot past the keeper in the left corner of the goal. This was the start of a spell of Okehampton dominating the game with Ross having a chance of another shot but went just wide of the goal. Okehampton kept attacking and Ross crossed the ball to Tallan Burns who scored to give Okehampton a 2-1 lead.

Argyle lost concentration for a moment and Lympstone came back with a goal to level.

Both teams continued to play good football but it was Lympstone who managed to take the lead. The Argyle boys did not give up and they replied with some good play in the midfield and attack.

The score was level again, when, following a throw in from Okehampton, Jamie Mallett hit home past the Lympstone keeper, bringing it to 3-3. In the closing minutes Lympstone caught Okehampton off guard to score the winner.

Okehampton didn't give up and both teams fought right up to the final whistle with a close game being played and neither team deserved to lose.
