THE first half of the match saw Plymouth being the dominant side with quick passing that weaved in around the spaces.
Tavistock Ladies 2nd hockey team battled on, trying to regain possession but excellent team work from Plymouth saw them get the first goal.
At this point Tavistock regrouped to take the push back. Excellent tackling and passing enabled Tavistock to pass around Plymouth?s defence and Kate Eadie scored to level.
At half time there were some substitutions and a positive pep-talk before taking to the pitch for the second half. Tavistock came out the stronger. It was a constant battle, with determination and great skill and teamwork and with many near misses but were unable to take the lead.
