MEMBERS of Dragon Taekwondo Club at Halwill Junction took part in a tournament organised by the British Taekwondo Alliance and the United Kingdom Taekwondo Development Council.

It attracted competitors around England and Wales. There were two disciplines which made up the days competition, Olympic style sparring and patterns. The competition proved to be extremely tough and competitive.

Niall Grange the chief instructor of Dragon TKD academy and Liam Grange the team coach, both of whom are retired national and international Taekwondo champions, were delighted with their individual performances and achievements and in particular their sportsmanlike behaviour.

Training in the Korean martial arts of WTF Taekwondo and Hosin-Hapkido (self defence) is every Sunday at Halwill Junction Parrish hall 10.30am to 12.30pm.
