POOR weather forced the postponement last week of 'Patrick and Mark's Golfing Adventure' at Tavistock Golf Club.
The event was arranged by Patrick Stewart and Mark Hoare, who both suffer from Parkinson's disease, to raise money to help fight the condition that causes suffering for so many people of all ages.
A new date has been set for Wednesday, August 1 at the club.
Partick's wife Sue, on behalf of the organisers, said: Obviously we were very disappointed that the event had to be called off because of the atrocious weather conditions, especially after a lot of hard work had gone into its preparation.
'We particularly thank all the players and sponsors for their support and we will be in contact with them.'
