A CHOIR of five women will be performing African Oral Tradition a cappella at Harrowbarrow and Metherell's Village Hall next week. The performers from Black Voices have before entertained Nelson Mandela and the late Princess of Wales. The event is sponsored by Carn to Cove and will help raise funds for the village hall recreation area. Tickets are available from Harrowbarrow Post Office and Barbara and Phil Culverhouse on 01579 350138. Ticket costs for adults are £7, children £5, concessionary £6 and family £20. The performance starts at 8pm on Saturday, February 23.
