IT was very good to find, that at long last the power lines across the moor to Princetown have been re-sited underground, where they should have been put in the first place. Perhaps now the relevant authorities will take a look at the appalling eyesore of the huge pylons over the river Tamar by Weir Quay. The technology to bury them deep under the river has been available now for many years and it is surely disgraceful that they are still in place in an area classed as an AONB.
