I WONDER if the councillors who included the Meadowlands Car Park in the £2 all day charge have spent anytime in this car park?   I visit from Harrowbarrow in Cornwall twice a week to go to the pool for the excellent aqua-fit lessons.  The most we have parked the car there is for two hours. The car park has a continual turnover of people parking to swim or for visiting The Wharf to buy tickets and have coffee with friends.   The only people to gain from the £2 charge would be those who work in Tavistock and then would then take up spaces needed by Meadowlands users or those visiting the Wharf. Doesn't Tavistock need supporters of these excellent local facilities? Anita Bowden Harrowbarrow
