THE Hair Bear Bunch have been busy fundraising for Cancer Research and St Michael?s Special Care Baby Unit in Bristol for the past year, and will have the grand finale of their fundraising campaign on July 16 with a disco in Bere Alston village hall. Also taking place on the night will be a prize draw and the sponsored head shaving of three Bere Alston residents: Debbie Doidge, Nick Kendall and the Rev Nick Law. The charity disco starts at 7pm and organisers say it is an event the whole family can enjoy. Tickets cost £5 per couple, £3 per person and £1 for children.
