ALL Saints Church in Okehampton continue events marking the church's 750th anniversary by celebrating weddings that have taken place there.
Cake, a glass of something fizzy and an opportunity to see the registers will be available on the night of Saturday July 9.
There will be a short tour of the church followed by a chance to climb the tower. The evening will end with a short service of dedication.
Rector of Okehampton the Rev Stephen Cook said: 'All Saints is, by an accident of geography, on the edge of the town, but it has always been at the heart of the town's life.
'Tens of thousands of couples have climbed the hill in all manner of forms of transport to be married over the centuries. Many of the couples in the town began their married life here. We want to celebrate the part the church has played in the hundreds of years since its foundation.
'The event will not be a service, although there will be a short time of dedication at the end. It's more of a chance for people to share memories and revisit one of the most important days of their life.
'The captain of the tower will be there to show those who have the energy something they won't have seen on the day — the bells that rang out to celebrate their wedding.
Anyone who has ever been married at the church is welcome to join in the evening celebration at 7.30pm.
