WOOLWELL started the game well and found themselves a goal to the good after only 60 seconds, when Rendle nipped between defenders to fire past the goalkeeper from 12 yards.

Woolwell continued to play some good football, but Horrabridge had centre-backs Jack Northam, Will Glanville and James Bailey in good form and aided by some good goalkeeping by Oliver North, kept the home side to just the single goal.

Horrabridge had several chances of their own with Dan Dawes going closest, shooting just wide from a tight angle.

Rangers continued to have the lion's share of possession for the rest of the half, but failed to create any clear-cut chances.

The second half was purely one-way traffic as Horrabridge passed the ball well and created chance after chance, resulting in Woolwell being reliant on their goalkeeper Alex Goss, who made several fine saves.

Horrabridge finally found an equaliser when good link up play between Max Burgess and Courtney Fry resulted in Dawes racing clear of the home defence and unleashing a thunderous shot past the keeper.

Horrabridge continued to bombard the home side's goal with Aaron Johnson, Alex Madar, Josh Birch and Dawes all going close, but to no avail.

The home side scored five minutes from time when Rendle shot home from eight yards.
