THE game opened with Tavistock having a few attacks on goal but the defence of Janet Simmons, Nell Trotter and Amy Petts kept them at bay.
Sarah Barrett struck a shot just a fraction to the right of the goalpost. The game started to even out and Tavistock pushed on for the goal, but faced some hard attacks themselves.
