Okehampton U11s 3 Seaton U11s 1 OKEHAMPTON started well with a through ball from Jamie Mallett, which enabled Ross Voaden skillfully to pass the keeper and score the first goal. After a handball, a penalty was awarded to Seaton, which they failed to score due to a fantastic save from Okehampton keeper Aaron Dearing. Okehampton continued to be tested throughout the remaining first half. In the second half Okehampton's next goal came from a superb free kick by Voaden, who shot with accuracy into the back of the net. Okehampton then had a reshuffle of players allowing Charlie to go into goal and Dearing a chance to play up front. Voaden continued to play well with a through ball to Sam Whalley seeing a one-on-one with the keeper and the ball placed home superbly. One minute before full time Seaton were awarded another penalty, this time scoring a goal. Men of the match; Aaron Dearing and Ross Voaden. Honiton U12s 2 Okehampton U12s 2 OKEHAMPTON made a positive start with both teams evenly matched. No player on either side allowed any space on the ball. Gostling put Okehampton into the lead, the goal coming through a good passing move, Burns and Forrester linking up well. Okehampton then missed two good chances from corners and finished the first half leading 1-0. Gostling scored a second goal for Argyle soon after the restart, but a well organised Honiton pulled one back from a goalmouth scramble. Hurley then made several useful saves as Okehampton lost a little composure, frustrated by Honiton's excellent defending. The home team levelled the score with a goal late into added time, leaving Okehampton a little disappointed to have let the game slip.
