A COMPANION dog show and family fun day is being staged at Wingletang Rescue Centre near Tavistock on Sunday, July 22. The event, from 11am to 4pm, will feature an array of activities to keep the whole family, and their pets, entertained, including pedigree and novelty dog classes, dog scurry, stalls, raffle, barbecue and bouncy castle. Entry to the event will cost £1 per adult, 50p per child but is free for children under the age of five.
