A FAMILY fun day has been organised for West Devon residents by Children's Hospice South West.
The charity's Yelverton and area branch has organised 'Ben's Day' for all local families to enjoy at Coombe Fisheries, opposite Buckland Abbey, on Sunday, May 24 from 11am to 4pm.
Country activities for all the family will include a dog show, gift stalls, a tombola, pony rides, a casting competition, a silent auction, and a car boot sale.
Refreshments will include a barbecue.
There will also be an opportunity during the day for families to meet the one and only fundraising 'superdog' Mr Foley. The Leonberger has become a well-known sight in the region as he pulls around a cart at various events to fill with money for charity.
Entrance to the event is by donation to Children's Hospice South West.
