IT was one lone Bere Alston Trekker Dave Adams, who made his way to Scotland to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon last month.
The Edinburgh Marathon is rated the fastest marathon in the UK by 'Runners World' magazine and the course has an overall elevation drop of 40m which should make it a good course for those looking for a good time or a personal best.
Dave, who was running to raise money for Prostate UK, put all his winter marathon training into good use and ran in a super time of 3 hours 36 minutes 34 seconds.
