Tavistock v Heathcoat
AT the ring bottom-of-the-league Heathcoat were put in to bat by Tavistock.
An early wicket by Doel left them struggling, this brought Moisan to the crease, who top-scored for Heathcoat with 34 before being removed by Nicholson, the pick of the Tavistock bowlers with 5-42.
This, with a sharp second spell from Roesstorff, left the last five batsmen with two runs between them and Heathcoat all out for 114.
The home side set about their task well with only two wickets falling. Opener Walter fell early for 10, while John McGahey batted through the pain barrier to reach 45no. Roesstorff batted confidently for his 39 before being removed by Williams. This left the skipper Dave Manning to hit the winning runs.
