THE annual Walkhampton pre school duck race at Huckworthy Bridge raised £814 for the pre-school.

Everyone enjoyed the sunshine on the lawns of Sam and Glen's house where tea and cakes were served. Paul Allen did the announcing as 40 plastic ducks in each of eight heats raced under the bridge.

Thanks were expressed to Paul Allen Wealth Management, Portcullis Legals Ltd, Roundabout and Moxham Garage, Jonathan Case Builders, Mike and Ali, Anna Wilson, and Mansbridge and Balment estate agents who each sponsored races.

Thanks were also expressed to all who donated raffle prizes, bought ducks and supported the event.
