IT'S time to get your trainers on and get in preparation for the Dartmoor Dash next week.

The run of just over five miles takes place mainly over moorland, and is raising money for Princetown Community Fund. The dash will be held on Sunday, September 4 at 10.30am from the Plume of Feathers, and costs £8 for affiliated members and £10 for non members. There will also be a fun run of a mile for children up to the age of 16.

Registration forms can be obtained by emailing [email protected]">[email protected] or a small number will be available from the Times office in Brook Street. Forms need to be submitted by August 31. Runners can enter on the day but will incur an extra £1 fee.
