THE amount raised at Tavistock Lions? darts marathon was inadvertently boosted in the Times last week.

A caption to a picture on the back page stated that £14,000 had been raised and that £7,000 was presented to Cancer Research UK.

This should have stated that the amount raised was £1,400 and that £700 was presented to Cancer Research UK. The other £700 went to 15 local playgroups.
