THE DARTMOOR Pony Moorland Show was another annual success — bringing the crowds in despite the slightly un-welcoming conditions.

The show, held earlier this month in Princetown, was chaired by Mr J Jordan with two judges, Miss C Belam and Mrs McKinlay Clark.

Chairman of the show Mr J Jordan expressed that it was 'a very good 21st year' with a 'good entry'.

The principle winners of the show were Mrs E Newbolt-Young who won the Championship and Mr K Locke who was awarded best reserve.

Entrants thoroughly enjoyed the day with Huckworthy Jenny Wren from Yelverton stealing the show with Pat Minter leading the ring and winning a first in the 4a class.
