MARY Tavy completed the double over their opponents to pick up some crucial points in a competitive league.
While this was always going to be a closely fought battle it was never going to be a pretty one with both teams finding the pitch heavy going.
The first half saw an even encounter with the home side having the better chances but finding the Tavy keeper in fine form. The upright came to Tavy?s rescue on two occasions. Simon Pocknell eventually opened the scoring with a close range header over the line from a Mark Piper corner but the Foxes struck back with a ferocious leveller.
The winner came in the dying seconds with a header from Dan Brockington.
