YOUNGSTERS in Milton Abbot have been tearing up the dance floor, learning special moves from a top Devon dance crew.

The dance group 'Just for Funk' has been teaching teenagers and children in Milton Abbot how to break-dance at the village hall.

Ellie Carey of Milton Abbot Community Group organised the eight-week course, which is split into two sessions — ages six to eleven and over 12s, in conjunction with Dance in Devon, West Devon Borough Council and Active Devon.

The course has so far been successful with children as young as six attending the course, which may continue if demand continues to be high.

The sessions are held at Milton Abbot Village Hall on Mondays between 3.45pm to 4.45pm for six to eleven year olds, and between 5pm and 6pm for over 12s.

Keen dancers can join at anytime throughout the course.
