FIVE Girls' hockey teams were in action for Mount House, with four of the five matches resulting in Mount House wins, and the other in a draw.

In appalling weather, the Under-11 A and B away fixtures against Stover Prep had to be shortened. Despite numerous chances and attacking runs by the Mount House, the A team were unable to score and the match ended 0-0.

By contrast, the Mount House B team dominated their game, scoring through Livvy Lopes, Siobhan Bird, Ottilie Whitbread and Millie Sharp for a 4-0 victory.

The Mount House Under-9s won both of their games against Plymouth College.

The A team had most of the possession, and gave a good team performance for a 4-0 win. The B team too dominated possession winning 2-0.

The under-8s were playing together for the first time and put pressure on Plymouth College from the start.

Resolute defence by the home team foiled many goals before Emily Crichton scored the only goal of the match to secure a 1-0 maiden victory for Mount House.
