TAVISTOCK College year 8 student Daisy Bosworth is celebrating, after winning the Exeter Dance Festival's Junior Ballet Championships, held at the city's Barnfield Theatre recently.

During the week-long festival, Daisy also competed in tap dancing and many other sections for ballet and modern dance, both individually and as a member of duets, trios and groups.

Daisy is a pupil of The Classique Academy dance school in Plymouth.
