KELLY House is hosting a 'pick your own daffodils' day in the grounds this Sunday, supporting the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity.
In addition to the pick your own flowers, the house will also play host to a number of local nurseries, who will be offering plants and advice on the best planting options for another season of successful gardening.
Join in the picking 'frenzy' between 10am and 5pm at the Georgian country house, located in the village of Kelly between Milton Abbot and Lifton.
A spokesperson for Kelly House said: 'The daffodil has long been the recognised symbol of this fantastic charity.
'Kelly House, which for many years until the closure of the railways was a market gardening business sending flowers to London's Covent Garden, still has many fantastic breeds of daffodils growing in the old flower fields.
'One hundred per cent of all proceeds from the daffodil picking will go directly to Marie Curie Cancer Care, helping to care for terminally ill patients in hospices throughout the UK.'
The tea room at Kelly House will also be open to provide tea, coffee and cakes to pickers throughout the day.
