THERE was another good entry of 12 cyclists from the Okehampton and Tavistock area who turned up last Thursday evening to participate in the Summer time trial series.
The 10 mile course traces the old A30 road from Bridestowe to Lewdown and back. A fine warm evening enabled another crop of personal best times.
Andy Retter was fastest on the night clocking a time of 26 minutes 10 seconds followed by Dan Worth with 27.06.
Congratulations should also go to the junior riders. Ben Kerwin achieved a new personal best time for the course of 27.51, Emily Attfield who steamed home in 33.05, knocking 1.18 off her previous best and Pete Jarman with a time of 34.55.
