A CYCLIST in his 60s had to be airlifted to hospital following a collision with a car on Sunday afternoon.
The collision, involving a black Ford, took place on the A390 near Lumburn Bends just after 2.30pm. The cyclist was taken by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital with arm and head injuries, but his condition was not thought to be life threatening.
The road was closed while investigations took place, but was re-opened at around 6pm.
