TAVISTOCK Wheelers has recently welcomed Mark Gorman, an accredited ABCC professional cycling coach to the club.
Mark brings with him a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of cycling from health and nutrition to intense race training.
With more than 30 years sporting experience and having a grade 3 coaching qualification with the Association of British Cycle Coaching, the members are looking forward to a successful season competing in local and national events, including time trialling, Sportive's, road racing and Audax events.
To share some of his valuable knowledge the club is holding an evening presentation on all aspects of cycle training, including the preparation and participation in cycle sportive riding, conditioning, basic machine preparation, tactics and pacing.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome. The Tavistock Wheelers has regular training rides twice a week. All abilities are welcome.
