STAFF and members of Torridge District Council have raised almost £600 while taking part in Movember.

Eleven people in the Torridge Movember Team helped to raise vital funds and awareness for men's health issues, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Some of the team have had cancer, others have lost loved ones to the disease, but all have been affected in some way by cancer.

Cllr Geoff Lee has 'Movembered' for the last two years. He said: 'We've all done really well lasting a month coping with the itchy Mo, and raised money for this very worthy cause.'
