ANYONE in the Okehampton area who would like to learn about what homoeopathy is and how you can treat your family and pets for minor ailments can find out more during Homeopathy Awareness Week.
The week is an annual event promoted by the Society of Homoeopaths and runs from June 14-21.
Jenny Grist, from Okehampton, will be giving people a chance to find out more about homeopathy at a free taster session at the Community Centre on Tuesday, June 17, from 7-9pm.
The evening will be aimed primarily at showing people how to use remedies safely at home for first aid and will explain how anyone can build up their own home medicine chest of remedies.
Further details are available from Christine Munkenbeck, Okehampton community education officer, on 01837 53800.
Alternatively, if you visit Boots the Chemists during opening hours on Monday, June 16, Jenny will be on hand to give advice on how homeopathy may relieve your health problems and help with choosing remedies for minor ailments.
