LEW Trenchard Primary held their summer fair on Friday June 17 ? and broke all previous records by raising £1,055 for the school. Nicky Sorrell, chair of Lew Trenchard?s Friends Association said: ?It was a great day and a fantastic achievement to have raised so much for a school with only seventy nine pupils.? Among the attractions, those who attended were treated to homemade cakes, lessons in the circus arts and tasty barbecued food. A prize draw was also held and, on behalf of the school, Nicky said she would like to thank those who donated prizes and to the Black Farmer for keeping the barbecue stocked with sausages.
